In April 1908 Collier & Company in London published a novel called Never Say Die.  Just under 200 pages, it was divided into three parts, each with individual chapters.  There are two illustrations, by famed French portrait artist Francois Flameng, including a frontispiece depicting the main character.  The book carried the simple dedication, “To My Wife.”
